I do character design for clients around the world, editorial illustration and spend my free time sketching and drawing digitally most of the time.
I was born in Mexico and lived in Colima my whole life, the smallest state in the country. Since I was a child, I always carried a sketchbook under my arm and my teachers at school have suspended me for "drawing class."
I was 15 years old when I started drawing and painting in other techniques in the University Institute of Fine Arts. And when I was 18 my father bought me my first Wacom.
I studied Graphic Design as a career and studied six months in Málaga, Spain. I freelance since then illustrating for clients. Also participated with paintings in different art exhibitions locally in the Week of Arts of the IUBA University Institute of Fine Arts, a solo exhibition: “Detrás de la máscara” and internationally in “Imagen Palabra” in Lima, Perú. I have expertise in different art techniques like drawing and painting with acrylic, engraving and digital printing.

Hago diseño de personajes e ilustración editorial para clientes de todo el mundo además paso mi tiempo libre sketching y dibujando digitalmente.
Nací en México y viví en Colima toda la vida, el Estado más pequeño del país. Desde que era niño, siempre llevaba un cuaderno de bocetos bajo el brazo y mis profesores de la escuela me han suspendido por "dibujar clase".
Tenía 15 años cuando comencé a pintar en otras técnicas en el Instituto Universitario de Bellas Artes. Y cuando tenía 18 años, mis papás me compraron mi primera tableta Wacom.
Académicamente, Estudié Diseño Gráfico como carrera y viajé seis meses en Málaga, España. Desde entonces trabajo como freelance para clientes. También participó con pintura en diferentes exposiciones de arte a nivel local en la Semana de las Artes del Instituto Universitario de Bellas Artes de la IUBA, una exposición individual: “Detrás de la máscara” e internacionalmente en “Imagen Palabra” en Lima, Perú. Tengo experiencia en diferentes técnicas de arte como el dibujo y la pintura con acrílico, grabado e impresión digital.

In 2015 I studied a Master Degree in Mexican Art History in San Luis Potosí, México, funded my CONACYT the National Investigation Institute for a thesis about “"The discourse on pre-Hispanic heritage in texts that promote the cultural identity of young people from Colima."
In 2012 I started working in the Pinacoteca of the University of Colima, designed the image and museology of at least 20 exhibitions. As a result, I started giving and organizing workshops and lectures about art, culture, design, creativity and illustration.
He produced products such as metal and plastic pins, digital prints, engravings, and patches. Which you can find in my online store. I’ve spoken at events and given live demonstrations. I discovered myself how much I love to teach, so also I set up a Youtube Channel where I post some tips and tutorials about how I make my art.
In 2018 I bought my first iPad Pro achieving almost complete freedom that accompanies my work process, I can take it wherever I want and work whenever I want.
Currently I’m manager ot the Museums in University of Colima.

En 2015 estudié una Maestría en Historia del Arte Mexicano en San Luis Potosí, México, financié mi estudio con el CONACYT para elaborar una tesis sobre: “El discurso sobre la herencia prehispánica en textos que promueven la identidad cultural de los jóvenes de Colima".
En 2012 comencé a trabajar en la Pinacoteca de la Universidad de Colima, diseñé la imagen y museología de al menos 20 exposiciones. Como resultado, comencé a dar y organizar talleres y conferencias sobre arte, cultura, diseño, creatividad e ilustración.
He elaborado productos como pines de metal y plástico, impresiones en digital, grabados, diseños en cerámica y parches. Los cuales los puedes encontrar en mi tienda online. He hablado en eventos y he dado demostraciones en vivo. Descubrí lo mucho que amo enseñar, así que también configuré un canal de Youtube donde publico algunos consejos y tutoriales sobre cómo hago mi arte.
En 2018 compré mi primer iPad Pro logrando una libertad casi completa que acompaña mi proceso de trabajo, la puedo llevar donde quiera y trabajar a la hora que quiera.
Actualmente soy Director de los Museos de la Universidad de Colima.
